John was born in Topsfield, Mass-home of the world-famous Topsfield Fair. John was born in Topsfield, Mass-home of the world-famous Topsfield Fair. He always felt that the Newfound Lake area was his "home away from home" as he spent summers at the family lakefront cottage in Bridgewater in his youth and early teens, worked summers at Wellington State Park in his late teens and attended and graduated from Plymouth State College with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration.

After graduating from college in 1984 and leaving the Newfound Lake region to pursue a career in Retail Management in the seacoast area, John realized after a short time two things: the first being that his home and heart were still in the Newfound lake area and secondly that his "true calling" was to have a career in real estate.

John comes from a family of real estate agents including his father Bud, who until recently retiring in 2005, had been in real estate for over 50 years and had proudly served the Newfound Lake area since 1977. "Being surrounded by a family of real estate agents growing up I guess you can say that real estate is in my blood and I have a true passion for helping people find their dream home or vacation paradise."

Since starting his real estate career in the Newfound Lake region in 1985 he has developed a high degree of knowledge and experience in assisting buyers and sellers with their real estate needs including the selling and marketing of residential properties, condominiums, vacation and lakefront properties, land and income properties, as well as buyer agency representation. He is currently an Associate Broker for COLDWELL BANKER Old Mill Properties located in Bristol, New Hampshire.

John's hobbies include spending time swimming and boating on Newfound Lake with family and friends, hiking and following the Red Sox and Patriots.
